Day in the City
Today was a blessing. Rain. Work. Rock Climbing with Robin (my girlfriend) and two of my house mates. Sushi (never thought I would like this food but it was super good). And now in a warm house on a couch. God's provision and blessings come in so many different ways. I pray that we see what He is already doing from His perspective because His love is so great.
Mucha ayuda! Mucho amor! Muchos de los niños! (Lots of help! Lots of love! Lots of kids!)
Tonight we had a theme of "Extreme Mexico" at our Hillside Hang-Out for the youth of Julian. So many people came to support reaching out to youth. Man did I need it and every other youth on the planet when we were growing up. What a great opportunity and scary place to be an influence. We had Carne Asada, home made tortillas (we made them ourselves), Foosball Tournament, Piñatas, and a good time.
It was a blessing and I pray that the kids sense the Love that God has for them. We also provide opportunities to learn new things like guitar, art, sewing, and maybe some other things.
I pray that we remember the Creator and sustainer of all things during this season of thanksgiving and Christmas. Remember to live for Him today! Don't wait until tomorrow!
With love,
Aaron
