Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you know about the Luv-em-up Camp coming up. At the end of October we will have a Halloween alternative camp. Rather then focusing on Halloween we will focus on the life of God and what He offers. It will be called Camp Blessings. Lots still needs to be planned for the camp.
Quick note about the youth ministry I had mentioned in the last blog. We are moving ahead and have committed to the ministry to the youth in Julian. So we plan to have a kids church service where they lead some songs, do a drama, and so forth. We are working on putting some other things in place as well. This is great and God must have something great planned. Pray that we see what that is and follow that. Thanks
Hope you are well and finding your peace in Him. He will finish the work and nobody can stop that. Jesus is so involved in yours and my life. We just miss it. Lets ask Him for the eyes to see.

AMAZING - decisions
Quick story about Luv-em-up this week.
A guy that gets picked up for church on Mondays loves to sit in the front. I used to be his driver and he still asks me if he can sit in the front. He is pretty selfish about sitting in the front. Ok, you get the picture. Setting: he was sitting in the front after Monday night service. Another guy who was being brought home in the same van uses a walker because he has trouble walking. Sitting in the car he said something to the affect of "you don't feel good?" By his own volition he steps out of the van and lets him sit in the front. This is HUGE. I can't even tell you. It is like a kid who will do anything for a pop-sickle and then gives it away to another child. This is unheard of and definitely shows there is a God
Also, I want to mention that I will be spending more time with the youth in Julian. It seems pretty evident that I am to do this and I don't know where the time is going to come. I need to trust His leading because He has plenty of time and knows what He is doing. Please pray if you think about it because I have some decisions to make and I need to just keep walking after him.

Sacrifice
Well this is my second blog post and I already don't know what to write...:). I guess I will just say that God has really been showing me more about His love for us and what God is calling me to do. I was struck today in Junior High youth group about the life of Mary the mother of Jesus. It never occurred to me that her accepting the fact that she would have a baby without "outside" of marriage was an act of faith and love for God. She had to be willing to go through disgrace and rejection but she was willing to take the pain along with the blessing of her son changing the entire world forever.
I am seeing that God wants me to love those around me even if it costs me something and as you know it will. But I know that God is trustworthy and will lead me all the way. I don't always believe it but I know it is true. :)
There are possibly more opportunities with the youth group at my church in Julian. More and more have been coming over the last few weeks so who knows what this means but they are coming :). They need love and it is a really small town so there is not much to do. So you know what that can mean...trouble. Thanks for reading
